ConvaTec has initiated a voluntary commercial withdrawal of certain units of Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam. This commercial withdrawal is being conducted because certain batches of Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam 236 mL (8 fl.oz.), manufactured during April and May, 2010 contain a similar ConvaTec formula to our usual formula, but contain different ingredients than noted on the label. This formula in the bottles is not expected to affect the product’s safety and effectiveness, and has a similar pH level compared to the regular Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam formula. However, the product in the affected bottles contains a lemon fragrance and a different surfactant composition.

The packaging and labeling for the affected product are the same as our usual Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam 236 mL (8 fl.oz.). The affected lot numbers can be found on the bottom of each bottle and on the shipping carton.
The end user may detect a lemon scent not consistent with Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam and may also notice a reduction in lather.
Note: Aloe Vesta® Cleansing Foam 118 mL (4 fl.oz.) bottles contain our regular formula and are not part of this commercial withdrawal.
